Louis Chevrolet was formerly a Swiss race car driver. Chevrolet is currently headquartered in Detroit, Michigan with operations in over 140 countries. In 2011, Chevrolet set a record selling over 4.75 million vehicles. Their logo also known as the 'bowtie' emblem was first introduced in 1913. Chevrolet continues to innovate and branch out into different segments. Currently, they participate in a variety of sporting events including, Nascar, IndyCar, Tudor United Sports Car Championship, British Touring Car Championship. Some of the most well known Chevrolet models include, Camaro, Cruz, Impala, Colorado, Silverado, Corvette, Malibu, Equinox, Suburban, and more. Throughout the years certain models have become some of the best selling lines in America, such as the Impala in 1970s. Chevrolet continues to innovate, producing more fuel efficient cars and trucks.
